This afternoon we spent the afternoon cutting little stools and taller chairs, which tonight will sit empty, only with the occasional bird who perches in order to look closer at the unlucky worm. Tomorrow, these seats will be sat on by those listening to a live cello and accordion performance, or maybe it will be the poetry, or perhaps people will just rest their legs and take in the beauty of the garden 🍂🍃🍂🍃🍂🍃

Today at Barnwood...Lime Hawk Moth
It's all action at Barnwood this week ! New gates installed, new fence under way and two trees felled to make way for this and to allow neighboring oak and cherry trees light and space to grow. We're having a planning day next week to finalise the layout of the orchard and wildflower meadow and positioning of new trees to coppice for the forest school. Still waiting for the CIO (charity) to be registered ... then we can start opening for public/community events. !!! Watch this space .... Looking likely for August ?!!!
